OVERVIEW
This four-month collaboration with DesignSG supported the Singapore Pavilion for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025. The project delivered an interactive interface featuring a search engine, data analysis visualizations, and multiple interactive views to help visitors gain spatial and temporal insights into popular perspectives on Singapore.

“How might we extract and synthesize perspectives on Singapore across time and space to reveal its unique character and spirit?”
At the client’s request, the project leveraged machine learning to analyze data scraped from news sources and social media. A web application was developed to enable interactive data exploration and visualization of these insights.
UI/UX
Design
A component-based modular design was developed with multiple key user flows to enhance exploration and usability. Low- and mid-fidelity prototypes were created to refine layout and user journey mapping. A high-fidelity Figma mockup was then developed and tested through A/B testing to finalize the UI design.

DEPLOYMENT
The web application was built with a React Native frontend and an AWS backend, integrated with the Mapbox API. It delivers full functionality as defined in the high-fidelity prototype.
Validated Prototype
The final prototype was successfully presented at the showcase and received positive feedback from the client, with strong potential for further development.
